A multi-purpose 9-acre greenspace, HUB404 Atlanta GA, formerly known as Park Over GA400, will create new ground in the form of a transformative public space connecting people and places. HUB404 Atlanta GA will sit above the Georgia 400 state highway and MARTA’s Buckhead rail station at the northern gateway to the City of Atlanta and will extend from Peachtree Road to Lenox Road. Serving the entire metro Atlanta area due to its connections to MARTA and PATH400, HUB404 Atlanta GA will be the junction of connections, nature, urban sustainability and economic development at the heart of Buckhead’s urban core.

The first multi-modal transit-oriented park of its kind in the United States, this stunning nine-acre greenspace will be a one-seat train ride from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and a must-experience destination for walkers, runners and cyclists traveling along PATH400. It will draw diverse audiences and serve as a much-needed community gathering space in an area that is currently severely lacking in public greenspace. Future connections to the Atlanta BeltLine and the growing regional trail network will enhance accessibility and encourage residents and visitors to leave their cars behind as they explore Atlanta neighborhoods and enjoy all that our vibrant city has to offer.

HUB404 Atlanta GA is intentionally designed to help people forge meaningful connections to the outdoors through rich, nature-filled experiences in daily urban life. This focus on biophilic or nature-friendly design reinforces the direct relationship between people and nature, promoting better physical and mental health for Atlanta area residents and visitors.

HUB404 Atlanta GA will occupy the gap created by the Georgia 400 freeway with a dense cover of native trees that link adjacent tree canopies. Abundant native plantings will comprise ample greenscapes to create a lush horticultural experience that tells the natural story of the region while providing ecological function including providing pollinator habitat, reducing the urban heat island effect and capturing stormwater.
