In 2013, the BCID with help from Charlie Loudermilk, worked for more than two years to redevelop this City of Atlanta Park into a green space that residents and visitors can enjoy for years to come. The $2.4 million in renovations included a grassy lawn, water feature, chairs and table on a stone patio and a 50-foot clock tower that resembles the one from Charlie Loudermilk’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina.

Every year the BCID hires traffic officers during the holiday shopping season to focus on helping traffic move more efficiently during peak rush hour times by keeping the intersections clear when drivers are entering or exiting shopping malls, offices or retail developments.
