Lenox Road Scoping Study

Current status: On September 6, 2017, the Buckhead CID held a public information open house for community members to review the plans of the Lenox Road Scoping Study and ask questions.

The Buckhead CID has received funding from the Atlanta Regional Commission to assist us in determining the feasibility of pedestrian, bicycle and roadway improvements on Lenox Road.  The boundary for this project extends along Lenox Road from Piedmont Road to East Paces Ferry Road. This 1.25 mile section of Lenox Road is heavily urban in nature and provides the only access on and off of GA 400 for the Buckhead area. Many notable developments are located on or adjacent to Lenox Road.  The intent is to explore how best to improve the function and appearance of Lenox Road for all current and future users of this corridor.  Work began in October 2016 and will be completed by the end of 2017.
